For decades, I created science fiction art focusing on spaceships, starships, jet fighters, futuristic architecture, and crew uniforms. For most of my work, I used the programs Rhino and DAZ Studio for 3D CGI and the following programs for 2D: CorelDRAW, CorelPHOTO-PAINT, Photoshop, GIMP, and Inkscape. In 2020, I transitioned to Blender for 3D CGI and Inkscape for 2D illustration. I was ready to begin to creating science fiction inspired virtual sculpture. Instead, I decided to start a new hobby of music composition with the goal of creating short jazz and classical pieces. I am now using the music notation program Sibelius to create computer-generated classical and jazz music. I also am now using the low-cost CAD program QCAD to work on occasional SF art projects.
Hey there, I was looking over your Warp Jump Explorer deckplans and they look awesome. Could I commission you to do deckplans for a star trek station and a Cruise Starliner? Let me know, thanks.
Suga-Spice, I am honored that you would like for me to do a commission for you. I am now retired for doing spaceship art and am focusing on music arrangement as my new hobby. I suggest you contact the very talented DeviatArt artist AdamKop who does do commissions. Best Wishes, dcmstarships
He doesn't have experience with deckplans like you do, apologies for not having seen your announcement. I wish you all the best.
Another place you can try to find an artist for your deck plans commission is https://www.guru.com/. I found some artists there a couple years ago to create some 3D CGI alien creatures for me. Their work was really good and their prices were excellent. Good luck!
